New Punjab tourism application, a step forward in uptalking tourism as a contributor to Pakistan’s lurking economy. Prime Minister Imran Khan has a special focus on promoting Pakistan’s tourism and this application is a solid proof of his determination. 

Punjab CM Mr. Usman Buzdar on Sunday inaugurated a tourism application which would provide complete information of 511 tourism destinations in the province. The hunger of tourism fanatics can be evaluated by their amazing response to the application which surpassed 10k+ download within just 3 days.

 The inauguration was held on the occasion of World Tourism Day. The application would enable citizens to get online information and service regarding tourism.

 The application promotes Punjab’s culture, spirituality, ancient civilization, and history. Descriptions of sites are available in the app to help visitors get detailed knowledge on map and tourism interests. 

CM Buzdar said that the application would also guide the route of tourism places. Through this app, people could benefit from online facilities of the Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) whereas booking of TDCP hotels could also be done online.

Department of Tourism Services (DTS) system application had been introduced for tourist operators adding, now operators could make online registration. Buzdar added that tour guides and travel agents are the worthy stakeholders and they won’t be left behind in the wake of modern technology. Rather Punjab Government is creating ease in various fields of life.
The beauty of Kashmir and Northern areas of Pakistan is unmatched when we talk about tourism. Punjab being the main trade hub is second to none because of its rich historic culture and spirituality sites.

Punjab would be made a hub of tourism under the able leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he vowed, adding, “Punjab has a huge tourism potential and the promotion of tourism will create job opportunities.”
